The heart and soul of Miri’s Kitchen is its owner and chef, Ms. Parvaneh Miri. Ms. Miri left Iran in January 1998 and came to the United States to pursue her dreams. She immediately started her studies at The Culinary Arts Schools in Santa Barbara, CA. However, due to a job offer, Ms. Miri had to move to Houston in August 2000 and continue her education at The Houston Community College (HCC). Ms. Miri graduated from the Hotel & Restaurant Management Program of the HCC in 2003.
After working for over 20 years at a Persian restaurant as well as at the Four Seasons Hotel and St. Regis Hotel, she decided to start her own business where she could implement her concept of “From Miri’s Kitchen to Your Dining Table”. In November 2021, she opened Miri’s Kitchen offering delicious Persian cuisine as well as specializing in catering services, private dining, banquets, business meetings, and corporate events. Mrs. Miri has a passion for quality and service and is committed to having a warm, inviting atmosphere and family-focused attitude at the Miri’s Kitchen.
